Philosophy

I do not think technology needs to become the center of life to matter.

Henry Jan's view is almost the opposite. The more important technology becomes, the less it should need to announce itself. It should help. It should simplify. It should earn trust quietly.

Built for the long term.

Principle

Make it useful

If it does not make life better in a real way, the sophistication does not matter much. I care more about whether a system reduces friction than whether it sounds impressive in a room full of investors.

Principle

Make it human

People are not here to serve the system. The system should serve the people inside it. That applies to software, retail, buildings, safety, and whatever comes next.

Principle

Make it last

I care more about what still feels true in ten years than what sounds exciting this quarter. Long-term thinking is not branding language. It is a design requirement.
